About Us

Co-Founder: Maria
Diagnosed with locally advanced cancer at 39 was Maria’s first encounter with Cancer, a wife and mother of two kids aged 7 and 10. Unfortunately Maria’s was a delayed diagnosis, missed by a GP, a story that is all too familiar to many Breast Cancer patients. Currently in remission, after completing her treatment Maria realised there was a significant gap in post-treatment support for the rising number of young women under 45 diagnosed with Breast Cancer. While many groups , social media groups and charities offer resources and information, young women often feel isolated. Inspired by her own need for community and connection during treatment and afterwards the creation of this community is aimed at connecting women through retreats where survivor and thrivers can come together, share their experiences and form lasting bonds with others who understand the unique challenges they face. Joining forces with Tasi, through these retreats, Maria hopes to provide a safe space for women to regain their confidence, find strength in shared stories and build a network of support as they move forward in their journeys. offering a space for connection with others who understand the specific struggles they face.
Women who have survived the experience can be a powerful source of hope and guidance during one of the most challenging times of their lives. For those facing an uncertain future, hearing from someone who has walked the same path can offer reassurance and perspective. Survivors can share practical advice, emotional support, and insights into the treatment process, helping patients navigate the complexities of their diagnosis with more confidence. It also provides a unique opportunity for survivors to give back, knowing firsthand how transformative the support of others can be.

Tasiana is a 42-year-old woman actively living with Stage IV Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. Diagnosed in January 2024, completing DMX surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, Tasiana is embracing living life flat, hoping to encourage others who wish to do the same. Tasiana is deeply passionate about connecting real-life survivors with authentic, raw support through advocacy and awareness. As someone who is facing her own health challenges, including being diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer, she understands the power of shared experiences and the importance of breaking down barriers to ensure individuals in need have access to the resources and understanding they deserve. She is committed to creating a platform where survivors can find solace, strength, and solidarity, and is actively working to dismantle the stigma surrounding illness and recovery. Through her work, she strives to build lasting connections, offering not just advice, but a community of support that resonates with people on a personal and deeply human level. By amplifying the voices of those who have lived through adversity, Tasiana is helping to foster a culture of empathy, resilience, and empowerment, ensuring that no one has to face their journey alone.
